GFH Global Foundation is pleased to announce that we have distributed $219,000 in 2011.  All projects have been thoroughly researched and visited.

  • St. Damien Pediatric Hospital – Port au Prince, Haiti – $92,000
    • Equipment purchase for St. Damien Neonatal Unit – Port au Prince, Haiti – Maternity and Neonatology Units New operating theatre- Two Incubators at $20,000 each  – 06/26/2011
    • Purchase of 1 incubator, 1 ultrasound probe, 2 neonatal resuscitation islands, & thermal beds – 12/6/2011
  •  World Education Fund – Laos – $20,000
    •  Outfitting one room, for welding and/or spray painting with high pressure ventilation systems.  Welding room will be outfitted with a tower to make it easier for someone in a wheelchair to do welding.   06/26/2011
    •  30 all-terrain wheelchairs – Assembly, distribution, and assessment  – 12/06/2011
  •  C.R.I.L.A.  – A New Step of Hope – La Ceiba, Honduras – $20,000 – June 26, 2011
    •  Equipment and supplies purchase for CRILA Prosthetics Project Building Workshop – in La Ceiba, Honduras.
  •  Hôpital Albert Schweitzer – Deschapelle, Haiti – $25,000 – June 26, 2011
    •  This grant is to be used for Maternal and Child Health, a priority which touches the lives of many who come to HAS.  It encompasses pediatrics, maternal health, high risk obstetrics, education, the well-baby clinics and post-partum checkups.
  •  Philip Craig Arts Therapy Program – Deschapelle, Haiti – $11,670 – June 26, 2011
    •  This grant is to be used solely for the continuation, expansion and promotion of PCATP in Deschapelle, Haiti and to include expenses for art supplies and to provide food for patients.
  •  Honduras – Reinsertaion Project – for death train victims – $20,000 – December 6, 2011
    •  Rehabilitation: Prosthetic/Wheelchairs and rehabilitation for death train survivors
  •  J. Watamull Global Hospital & Research Centre – India – $5,000 – December 6, 2011
    •  Cost of detecting and curing tuberculosis over a geographical area comprising 12 villages
  •  Hanger Klinik – Ivan Sabel Foundation – Deschapelle, Haiti – $25,000.00
    • Funding for Prosthetic and orthotic Equipment for new Prosthetic Clinic in Port au Prince, Haiti
